Q: I'm having problems placing
an order, can I get help?
Answer:
Follow this tutorial,
it should help you place an order.
Q: Which shipping band should I
choose?
Answer:
Band 'A' or 'A+' for UK, Scotland (mainland) Wales &
Isle of Wight, Band 'B' for Northern Ireland & Isle of Man.
Q: When will my order arrive?
Answer: Order by 12 Noon on Monday and you will receive your order
Wednesday/Thursday.
Order by 12 Noon Tuesday and you
will receive your order Thursday/Friday.
Order by 12 Noon Wednesday and you
will receive your order Friday.
If you place your order on
Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday your order will be delivered on
Wednesday/Thursday. (unless there is a Bank Holiday)
Q: What happens if my order doesn't arrive on the designated day?
Answer:
Our couriers can deliver up to 5.30pm. If your order hasn't arrived by 6 pm, please email us and we
will look into this and advise you accordingly at our earliest opportunity. In
the unlikely event that your order doesn't arrive, it will be delivered the next
day.
Q: What happens if I am not there when the courier
tries to deliver?
Answer:
The courier will leave your order with a neighbour or leave
it in a safe place. If there is nowhere safe to leave it he will return it to
the depot and you will need to make collection.
Q: I have a friend who would like
to place an order but doesn't have internet access, what can they do?
Answer: They can send a
cheque with their order to M.Manze 105 High Street Peckham, London SE15 5RS.
Tell them to include their phone number and we will call them to advise when
their order will be arriving.
Q: I am unable to pay via
Paypal, why is this?
Answer:
One reason is that
if you have had a Paypal account in the past, it will expect you to use these
details for paying. You will need to update your information with them or use a
completely different credit card and email address. Or, alternatively, use the
Nochex payment option.
Q: My order is over £100, why can't I use Nochex for my
payment?
Answer:
Nochex will only let
you pay up to £100. If your spend is more than this, you will need to sign up
with them or use Paypal.
Q: What is the necessary 'cool chain'?
Answer: It
is a term applied to keeping food under 8C at all times through processing.
Q: Can I freeze my order?
Answer:
Yes, with the exception of jellied eels. Your food is
freshly prepared enabling you to freeze part or all of it. You should freeze
your food as soon as it is delivered if you do not intend to consume it within
24 hours.
Q: Do I need to defrost the food before heating?
Answer:
Yes. Defrost
overnight in the fridge before heating.
Q: Are your vegetarian pies, mash
& liquor suitable for Vegans?
Answer:
Yes. We do not use any dairy products and only use soya
mince in the vegetarian pie filling.
Q: Are your
pies suitable for gluten free diets?
Answer:
No, sorry.
