The communications between customer and Manze's was faultless and finally, the P & M was just great.

I was going to tell you how pleased I am with your even before I read your e-mail. As you know I ordered the eight pie and mash package to be delivered to Cadgwith in remote Cornwall on the Lizard peninsula, the order arrived on time in perfect condition, so much so that my friends who were the recipients remarked that it was beautifully packed and that some of the freezer packs were still frozen and that they know they will enjoy the meal tomorrow (Thursday).

I had not told them it was on its way because I wanted it to be a surprise for their joint birthdays which it was but they said they had to do some detective work to find out where it had come from and they contacted the Plymouth branch of the couriers and were told it came from Manzes of Peckham and thus guessed it was from me.

My friend rang me this evening to thank me but after hearing that there was nothing to identify it, only the cooking instructions, it made me realise that it would be a good idea for you to have a facility on your website when ordering to be able to say who had sent the package with the facility for a personal message to be dispatched with the order.

But I must congratulate you on your first class service and look forward to doing more business with you.

Further to my e-mail yesterday regarding the delivery to my friends in Cornwall, they phoned me this evening to tell me how much they enjoyed their pies n mash. They said that they had been looking forward to their meal ever since receiving delivery of it yesterday. They told me that they followed the instructions exactly, the instructions being very precise, and the meal was cooked to perfection just as if they had bought them fresh from the shop. The pies n mash were in their words "Lip smackingly good and as satisfying as you could hope for", praise indeed from afficianados of South London food.

Congratulations on a marvellous effort and I hope you get all the success your initiative deserves.

.......I discovered quite by accident that I could get pie & mash from you online
and I used your online ordering service and gave my mum pie & mash for her
82nd birthday yesterday. We left London in 1971 and she hasn't had pie &
mash since. It tasted just as good as we remembered it and brought back so
many memories. We used to go to the Peckham shop regularly and it was the
one thing she missed about living in London. She said it was the best
birthday present she had ever had.

I have to say that the packaging was first class, the heating instructions
were very clear and there was loads of it. Other "exiles" have found out
what we had and I'll definitely be ordering again for all of us.

Thank you very much, you made an old lady very happy.

thank you have received my order you have made my mum very happy she comes from london an not had pie an mash for yrs we bought it for a mothers day pressie . the order was parcelled well but one of the liqure cartons had split on the bottom but wasnt a problem just thought i would let u know.

We were ( I think) the first delivery that you have made to Northern
Ireland- we are all originally from South London. I bought this as a
present for fathers day for my dad as he said that it was the only thing
about London that he missed, having frequented your Peckham shop for
years...We got the 8 pie package and I was astounded at how
professionally packed it was! nothing was dented or moved and I am sure
it arrived exactly as it left London.

My dad would not wait and we put pies on to cook first - the
instructions were straightforward and very easy to follow. The results
were absolutely amazing!!!!!! He was happy as larry sitting there with
his pie n mash and a big old grin on his face!!! We will definitely be
ordering again.

Received order at 1:00pm on specified day. Everything in tact, very well packed and some of the ice blocks were still frozen. Couldn't fault it. We shared the order with our neighbour as we both come from Bermondsey and wanted to re-live the nostalgic experience. He promptly ate three pies with liquor and his own mash and fell asleep for the rest of the day! We have yet to try ours but if my parents, who live in Devon, (Mrs Dawkins, Mary Tavy) are anything to go by I'm sure we will love it too. We will definitely order again. Just wanted to say that the delivery of pie and mash arrived safely and has restored my faith in the delicious dish.  I used to drive to London to get pie and mash but what with congestion charge and petrol prices have stopped going.   However when my daughter was told about your web page I looked immediately.  My daughter (although she doesn't remember) and I used to come to Manze's in Tower Bridge Road in the 70's so felt confident to order.   It was superb, delicious, tasty what else can we say apart from its well worth the cost.  Packaged beautifully and arrived in tip top condition.   Thank you so much.  We will definitely be ordering again.   Many thanks.   Jenny (Milton Keynes)

Well it is 2.00am in the morning, we have been celebrating my Dads 85th Birthday today, we had family over to celebrate the day, and as a suprise we ordered your Pie & Mash, everyone had gone home now all still talking about how wonderful the pie and mash was, it made the day so very special.
To see the suprise on their faces was magic, they all come from North London Islington and some have long given up on ever having Pie and Mash agian in their lives as it's no easy thing for them to get to London anymore.
Everybody really enjoyed it, it was so tasty and tasted just as it we all remembered it, don't know how Manzes manage it.
The packaging was so secure and well packed and the pie and mash kept cool with the ice bags.instruction to heat clear.
What a fantastic idea, wish we have known about it long ago.

Thanks so very much for making us all so happy and the day so special, and thanks to Rick who reasurred me on Friday that yes indeed my pie and mash was on it's way
