Our Blue Plaque Award…Our Peckham shop has been awarded a ‘Blue Plaque’ by Southwark council after receiving more than half of the total votes made! Voted for by our loyal customers. The presentation of the plaque was made on Citizen’s Day, Tuesday 18 October 2005.
On the day, we had a selection of people in the shop who had never eaten pie and mash before. The whole day was filmed and after eating, they were asked their views on the food. Part of the day was shown on ‘The Week’ on 23rd October.
